Scientists Discovered Cure for Hair Loss and Baldness 2018
Hair Loss Cure News 2018 (Update):
Whether you are trying to stop a receding hairline or correct the process onto the right track again or want to remove the fear of hair loss experienced every night at your pillow, you’ll probably need to grow new hair follicles or at least need to stimulate the dormant.
However, there are a lot of myths and misconceptions in the world about scalp hair follicle growth. So we’ll try to track down the industry professionals and new technology about treating human scalp’s follicles.
Introductory— What are hair follicles?
In a simple sentence, a hair follicle residing in the skin is a cell-lined sac from which a strand of hair grows. This organ helps to produce hair on our scalp and other parts of our body. Hair follicles go through a few phases of growth and rest, and if any disruption takes place between these phases, some follicles become inactive and after a certain period slowly stop producing healthy follicles.
What are the developments in growing new scalp hair follicles?
For decades, scientists and dermatologists have tried to develop a scientific method of growing new hair follicles. Many types of research and tests have been conducted to achieve success. Let's review some of the discoveries and see if they are enough to bring about a revolution in the hair-care industry.
Japanese research about growing new hair follicles: New hair growth treatments 2018
Recently, a Japanese scientist claims that they’ve succeeded in developing a new way of growing hair follicles at even higher speeds than other methods. The research was published in the journal Biomaterials.
Professor Junji Fukuda led the research team at Yokohama National University. They succeeded in cultivating 5000 follicles which were enough to replenish hair; in contrast, the established laboratory methods can produce only 50 follicles or less at a time in one day.
The team studied the cultivation of hair follicles germs by using 2 types of cells that were placed in silicon (dimethylpolysiloxane) containers. These follicles germs are the source of tiny organs that help to grow and sustain scalp hair.
The scientist also added present hair treatment by using the back hair of the head and planting them in the frontal areas experiencing hair loss. It failed to increase the total number of hair follicles or hair. and yes, few other treatments succeed in slowing down the hair loss process.
The professor said that this new technology might need another 10 long years (!) before it’s available for people who are dreaming of getting rid of polished plates and thinning thatches.
Baldness Treatment by Professor Choi Kang-Yeol: Baldness Cure 2018 New Updates
A research team of Yonsei University scientists led by Professor Choi Kang-yeol claims that they have found an important protein, named CXXC-type zinc finger protein 5 (CXXC5), held to be responsible for androgenetic alopecia. This protein mostly controls the other protein functions and other hair regeneration substances.
The South Korean scientist hopes this could be a potential target for the treatment of hair loss.
Lee, Soung-Hoon et al. Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Volume 137, Issue 11, 2260—2269.
Let's know how CXXC-type zinc finger protein 5 (CXXC5) works
This protein acts as a negative regulator on the Wnt/β-catenin pathway (controls the activity of embryonic and adult stem cell populations) that is linked to hair regeneration and the scalp’s wound-healing that might lead to developing new follicles.
When this protein binds with Dishevelled (Dvl), another kind of protein, it restricts hair follicles in developing. The team created a biomaterial, PTD-DBM, to interfere with the binding process. When this biomaterial is applied for 28 days to the bare skin of bald mice, new follicles develop.
The team achieved a stronger result when they combined wound-induced hair neogenesis with PTD-PBM and valproic acid. It was used topically to activate the Wnt/β-catenin pathway.
Actually, the process works in three ways.
First — the wound stimulates the follicles generation,
Second — valproic acid induces the cell pathway (linked to the development of follicles)
And Third — PTD-PBD inhibits or prevents CXXC5 from interfering with the follicular development process.
So this treatment procedure has yet to pass human safety regulations as it still hasn’t been clinically tested to determine its safety issues. Currently, further research is going on; they are testing their findings on animals to determine whether or not there could be any adverse results before attempting human application.
Lates Baldness Cure 2018- 2020: USC stem cell scientists who created a cure for baldness
Dr. Cheng-Ming Chuong, professor of pathology, and his team reported developing a new means by which hair follicles might be grown from skin cell reproduction in the laboratory.
That research was funded by National Institutes of Health; it was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
As yet, the University of Southern California (USC) has not confirmed any news regarding the testing of the process on humans. It seems we will have to wait a couple of more years to see whether this cell transplant succeeds in curing baldness. If scientists beat this challenge of regenerating a patient's own stem cells to grow skin with hair follicles in a lab and transplanting them into his/her bald area of the scalp with resulting hair growth, it would be a revolutionary invention in the history of modern hair care.
Just to add the research was funded by National Institutes of Health and it was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
But University of Southern California (USC) did not confirm any news regarding the testing the process over a human. Seems like, we have to wait a couple of more years to see whether this cell transplant works well to cure baldness. If scientists win this challenge in regenerating patient’s own stem cells to grow skin with hair follicles in a lab, and later on transplanting them into his/her bald area of the scalp, would be a revolutionary invention in the history of modern hair care.
Concurrently, there are more studies going on by various scientists and research agencies concerning new hair follicles’ development but all are in the development stage or at least hair-regrowth clinical trial findings are, at the moment, limited to results found in test mice.
So, actually, right at this moment, there are no scientific breakthroughs—no proven strategy that works on humans—that can clearly demonstrate success in growing new hair follicles. but there’s hope. If you have been losing hair or if you think you are at the risk of hair loss, then there might be some alternative solutions that might reduce the process and reactivate the dormant follicles.
Recognize the problem: Why Is Your Hair is falling out? Grow-new-hair Treatment With 4 Easy Steps!
Hair loss doesn't happen fast; it takes at least a couple of weeks to manifest that a trigger has caused the hair to fall out. So if you could find the underlying problems, you could counter that hair problem. Understanding the hair growth cycle is an important component in understanding why hair falls out or become thin.
There are actually four stages of the hair growth cycle. These are the anagen, catagen, telogen, and exogen stages.
1. The anagen or growing phase of Hair:
During this growth phase, hair grows actively without any major interruption. This process usually lasts for 3 to 7 years, depending on the human’s biological structure.
2. The catagen hair or regression phase:
Having completed the anagen phase, it soon enters the catagen phases. In this stage, human hair follicles start to shrink in size but will not fall out until the new hair pushes out from the scalp..
3. The Telogen Stage of Hair Growth (Resting) Phase:
This is actually the resting phase of hair follicles where our biological functions order them to stay calm, without any activity. This phase begins with resting and lasts until a new hair pushes out, growing from that cell.
The phase lasts for 3 to 5 months, depending on the individual.
Normally, 10% to 20% of a person’s hair remains at the telogen phase at any given time. If his or her physical or other biological problems lead to pushing more hair follicles towards the telogen (resting) phase, it will result in a hair shedding problem.
4. The Exogen (Shedding) Phase of Hair Growth:
As soon as the new hair has grown from that cell, the old hair enters the exogen phase. The old hair usually falls out when we brush or wash our hair. That’s the reason dermatologists say it’s normal to lose 50 to 100 hairs every day. The new hair growth causes the old hair to fall out. So there is nothing to be worried about.
Just like the other parts of our body, it’s important that our hair growth cycle should proceed at a natural speed and distribution, and without impediments. But external factors can also interrupt this cycle.
Male pattern baldness happens due to problems with the regression phase (catagen) when more and more hair follicles enter the resting phase and miniaturization happens at the follicular level.
After a certain period, eventually the hair follicles fall out and nothing grows back.
So is it still possible to regrow hair? And Cure hair loss 100%?
Although there is no volume of evidence supporting the premise that new hair follicles can be grown, if the follicle is still intact, it’s quite possible to stimulate that follicle’s health, even after follicles have closed, dried up, and stopped generating new hair for years and years.
As long as your hair loss is not caused by inherited factors or severe scarring, there are chances you can repair your damaged hair follicles.
How to Revive Dead Hair Follicles? A cure for Alopecia:
As we said earlier, stop panicking. Stress can lead to a condition called Alopecia Areata and cause white blood cell to attack hair follicles in the scalp, causing instantaneous hair loss—hair often falls out in patches—and over time, affects the whole scalp.
Depending on the bad to the worst situation, there are some remedies that might stimulate the hair health and restore the damaged follicles. Here's how you can treat damaged hair follicles.
Topical Medication for Hair Loss Breakthrough:
There are very few hair growth or hair-loss prevention products which were found to be effective in lab studies- minoxidil is one of them. By activating the potassium channels in the follicle, this product can produce good hair-growth results. It also induces prostaglandin function which helps to promote hair growth.
This means when applied on the scalp, it helps the hair follicles to go through the rest of the growth phases.
But when it’s applied on the scalp, patients may face a hair shedding problem, with old hair falling out in a large number. Usually, it takes time for the physical effects to become apparent. Additionally, these medications have some serious side effects which should make you think carefully about using it.
The side effects could include a sudden increase in body hair, heart palpitations, slight chest pain, headache, itchiness, dryness, skin irritancy or a slight burning sensation, dark spots around the eyes, wrinkling, and as mentioned above, scalp hair shedding.
Consider Natural Remedies for Balding Treatments:
There are few natural remedies—some of the procedures are a little bit questionable— that are found to be effective and will give dormant hair follicles the chance to revitalize.
Scalp massage is both one of the good ways to relax and also helps to increase the blood circulation and flow to hair follicles. Doctors sometimes advise applying deep conditioner with hot oil treatment to rejuvenate and stimulates follicles.
Similarly, stress increases cortisol levels in your blood that triggers our hair to enter in the telogen phase earlier than found in a natural process. So reducing or managing stress well helps to reduce hair-loss issues.
Eating healthy foods that are rich in protein, vitamins A, C, and E, iron, zinc, copper, magnesium, and selenium helps our scalp’s hair follicles to grow strong and stimulates a healthy hair-growth cycle. Nutritional, mineral and vitamin deficiency affects our hair and related organs.
Scalp Therapy Solutions for Damaged Hair Follicles:
It is no lie that medicated shampoos are designed to treat scalp and other hair conditions. The use of hair growth shampoos is a safe, painless and cost-effective solution to treat hair follicles.
These solutions are found to promote natural hair growth by stimulating hair follicles and also helping to improve the conditions of our existing hair.
The ingredients and vitamins have been carefully chosen to address the common causes of hair problems.
Solutions that contain natural oil from herbs’ extract, caffeine, and rosemary extracts can encourage a healthy scalp and aid in dandruff prevention.
One article in the International Journal of Trichology concluded that caffeine applied topically can assist in the promotion of the hair growth cycle. Caffeine acts as a cell metabolism stimulator and decreases the inhibiting effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) on hair growth. DHT, the hormone, attaches itself to the hair follicles impeding vitamin, proteins, and minerals from providing the hair with the nutrients needed to keep the hair growth cycle going.

The herbs aloe vera extract and tea tree oil are also rich in enzymes, acidic properties, anti-inflammatories, antifungals, and antibiotic ingredients that not only work as excellent moisturizers but also prevent psoriasis and other damage which can develop on the scalp.
Keep in mind that some of these natural remedies come with brutal truth. These products are neither pharmaceutical-grade nor do some contain natural ingredients. By contrast, Amplixin scalp therapy shampoo contains natural oils and extracts—found very effective in independent lab studies and praised by many patients—that do encourage a healthy scalp and help in dandruff prevention.
Even better, these products can be combined with other treatments to achieve higher results Additionally, Amplixin hair growth stimulating shampoo contains sage leaf oil that can improve hair-follicle formation and can possibly revive the dormant follicles’ growth cycles.
The Bottom Line:
Nevertheless, all the scientific teams’ efforts to research growing completely-new-hair-follicles still progresses apace, and until we’re given solid news on human trials, these cures will remain hypotheses.
However, don’t just sit and watch your existing hair follicles enter the dormant stage! Embrace the beauty of a healthy head of hair with Amplixin’s alternatives.
